How to use PDP Assist Management Development Planner

1. Log on and select the areas you want to review

There are four different assessments to choose from; one considers personal characteristics while the others look at the knowledge and understanding you need in order to manage people and situations successfully.

2. Complete the assessments

Each assessment takes about 15 minutes to answer and provides meaningful feedback.

3. Print out the feedback report containing text and graphics

The report includes action planning facilities to allow you to reflect on your results and benchmark them against national data from your peer group.

4. Select and print out the specific category learning plans

These learning plans have been compiled by the Management Charter Initiative and are comprehensive learning guides. Each learning plan suggests tasks designed to help you improve and provides specific links to learning modules.

5. Access the learning modules

Download, print or save to your desktop. These learning modules can be read to improve your management skills.

6. Repeat the procedure at a later stage to see your improvements or choose a different management area to assess and develop

The Management Development Planner stores your results and lets you build a personal record of Continuing Professional Development. You can access the facility at any time.
